Neurosis – Hospital Environment
Environment art + procedural tools for a horror hospital level. Built with Houdini toolsets to speed up modular production, set dressing, and reusable FX integrated into Unreal Engine.
Overview
Neurosis is a horror experience set inside a decaying hospital. This environment was designed to feel claustrophobic, oppressive, and readable in gameplay with strong silhouettes, and lighting beats that guide the player.
To build it faster (as a solo dev), I created several Houdini tools that generate and manage modular structures, set dressing, and reusable FX elements. The goal: iterate quickly on layout and mood, while keeping everything consistent and production-friendly.
