A centralized pipeline to sync assets from Maya and Houdini into Unreal Engine, automating imports, material setup and logging across the entire production
Overview
This tool centralizes the asset flow from DCCs (Maya, Houdini) into Unreal Engine. Artists export assets with one click, and the system automatically handles FBX import, material instance creation (unique / trim / tile) and logs everything through a Flask server UI.
The goal was to reduce repetitive manual setup, keep versions in sync and provide a clear history of what was imported, when and by whom.
